The Essential Collection

A garment should be able to open a door.

Every piece in the Essential Collection carries a custom Antara rubber badge with NFC technology embedded inside it.

Tap it with your phone and the garment identifies itself against the Antara registry: what it is, when it was made, and the detail hidden in it that you may not have found yet.

Register the piece and it becomes yours on the record. That is where it stops being a purchase and starts being access.

What the chip opens

• Proof of authenticity — verified against the Antara registry, not a certificate that can be copied.
• The record of your piece — its materials, the month it was made, and what is embroidered, embossed or hidden in it.
• Invitations to Antara events — small, and not advertised publicly.
• Tailored services and repairs — on that specific garment. We would rather repair a piece than see it replaced.
• Early access — to new work, before it is released publicly.

How to use it

1. Find the Antara badge on your garment — on the hem, the pocket or the inner seam depending on the piece.

2. Hold the top of your phone against it. Most modern phones read NFC without an app.

3. Your garment's page opens. Register it with your name and email, and it is recorded as yours.

No chip reader on your phone? Every piece also has a printed serial beside the badge. Enter it manually on the verification page and you will get to the same place.

Why we built it

Luxury has always depended on knowing. Knowing what a thing is made of, who made it, and whether it is real.

Most brands answer that with a logo — a mark large enough to be read across a room, which is also a mark large enough to be counterfeited. We wanted the opposite. Restraint on the outside, and certainty underneath.

So the proof went into the seam, where it belongs.
