Certified protection
Every Aether lens is high UV rated and CE certified. The category number describes how much visible light a lens filters, not UV. UV protection is full across the collection, however light or dark the tint looks.
Category 1 is a light tint. Helios is built for overcast light, evening and shifting conditions rather than hard midday glare, which is the trade you make for a lens you can still be seen through.
